4 Simple Ways to Increase Your Customer Base at Your Health Business

As a health business owner you must always be on the lookout for ways to increase and retain your customer base. Let’s assume that you are already using software tools that help you run your business, but you are still aware of untapped markets that you can turn into loyal customers. One impactful way to increase your clientele is to create special offers to clients that may not currently be part of your customer base. So, let’s talk about some ways that your health business can reach a broader audience to serve:

1. Offer discount for college students 

Students are an important demographic as they will be your future customers and are a great source of referrals. In fact, over 50% of students have indicated they spend their income on Health & Aesthetic services. Think about how you can incorporate this demographic into your health business by creating special offers. Here are a couple of examples that may help you: 

A. With a proof of student ID students can get 15% off particular services

B. If you are worried that your schedule will fill up with discounted services, you can offer these lower prices only on particular days when your bookings are low. There is software available that can automatically send these offers to fill up gaps in your schedule.

Effective referral programs are essential for your business to thrive. In essence, a referral program is a formal process in which existing clients can refer friends/family and receive a reward for doing so. Every major company, from Starbucks to Uber, has one and so should you.

There are different ways in which you can structure a referral program. You can start by doing it manually, however, you can also use software to automate it. Granted, there will be a slight learning curve when you automate, but it would make it a much more efficient process. 

4. Be Family Friendly

Let’s be honest, it can be hard for parents to find child care while they come in to complete their services. A great touch to help moms and dads is offering childcare options at your facility while they complete their appointments. This would be a far less stressful option then leaving the kids at the grandparent’s house or with a babysitter. As this might not be an option for some businesses, you can make your facility more child friendly by creating a play area for kids to entertain themselves. Happy kids will lead to happy parents which will lead to happy clients!
